In my creative work, I've always been interested in finding ways to transform the mundane into something artistically striking. I'm inspired by the patterns, textures, and colors created in nature and strive to explore nature in a new way. I utilized photographs I've taken of common natural objects like flowers and tree branches and reimagined them as essential shapes and textures combining them into a collage. Then, I pulled colors from photos of things like my grandmother's couch or a friend's shirt to create color palettes that were applied to the shapes. These patterns lend themselves to many possible applications, from posters and murals to stationary and wrapping paper.
